Has Your Gaming Addiction Ruined Your Life -- Reality TV Casting Opportunity

Hello!

My name is Jake Weinraub and I'm a casting producer for Doron Ofir Casting in Los Angeles.

I'm currently casting a major cable network reality show for people with outrageous addictions/obsessions that take over their lives. It's sort of a cautionary tale, participants telling their stories that may help viewers who might be going down a similar destructive path. There is also monetary compensation for the subject, paid for by the network.

We're looking for the gamer who's gone overboard.

If this is something you might be interested in, please write me at jweinraubcasting@gmail.com or give me a call at the office: (323) 289-2893.

Here is the official site in case you'd like to know more: http://www.ruinedmylifecasting.com

Thanks so much!

I have no doubt you might

I have no doubt you might find someone... but I wouldn't touch your show with an 11 and a half foot pole, no offense but I saw Dr. Phil butcher us once, I can only imagine how much worse a reality show could be. Thanks for stopping by X

Hi Xandtar! This show is

Hi Xandtar!

This show is actually what's called an "anthology series" -- more along the lines of "My Strange Addiction" on TLC as opposed to an exploitive talk show. It's more educational, and the stories will be dramatized.

Thank you so much for weighing in! LOL @ the "Grinch" reference.

I really doubt that the show

I really doubt that the show will do anything to "help viewers who might be going a similar path", nor that it is even the intention of the producers - they are here to provide entertainment and cheap laughs for a crowd of people who most likely are not addicted nor interested :-(

Also, people potentially interested should be aware that, in these type of shows, the guinea pig has no control over what if finally broadcast and then stays online forever... As for the "monetary compensation" it could be very small in regards to the total hours spent...

Frankly, I am surprised that these types of messages have any place on a site that is primarily destined to healthy recovery and not publicity.
