Oh, and if you are interested in checking the show out, but can't watch it when it airs, you can check it out on their website either tomorrow or shortly after the show. The link is posted above!
I'm so excited for our member! There also should be mention of GamerWidow.com as well as a link to our site on the CBS website. So this is exciting for all of us! and all gamerwidow(er)s out there. Expect a possible influx of members after the shows airing."
Very glad to hear that! anything that gets the word out. I hope it all goes well.
every little bit helps
If you go to cbsnews.com you can read the comments on the piece. I was greatly encouraged that most of them were from people who were taking the subject seriously. Only one or two of the usual "must be bad parenting" and "take responsibility and just stop playing" type of posts that those kinds of comment boards generally get loaded with pretty quickly. I left a little plug for olganon there, since it was not mentioned in the cbs piece. There will be a segment on treatment centers in China on Wednesday, same time.

Here is the link to the video (starts with a 20 second commercial) http://www.cbsnews.com/stories/2007/04/30/eveningnews/eyeontech/main2744474.shtml It is also on the In-The-News board.
All in all, I thought it was a very good piece. Here's to hoping that it will start more and more people thinking....
Well, the later comments are more along the lines of what you can expect from those things, though there are still some serious ones there. Apparently they only archive about 24 hrs of them so mine is gone already.

I saw this on TV too and I thought it was very informative as well. I got to see your post on there Gamersmom ;)
Yeah, turns out there are two comment threads. One is comments and one is a blog or something like that. I found my post again.
