Preferences for Forum Views or some other way to do this?

I'm not sure how to articulate this--computer just got out of shop after being down for a week. I'm finding that it's challenging to set up any search for new posts that doesn't pull all new posts, including those that are more anon in nature, when I'm really looking for the olga stuff.

On some other types of forums I note that there is often an option to click something that says "new posts" and the new posts display on the forum board itself (by thread), not as clinkables from a right nav menu.

The reason I suggest this--it would be far easier to see on a by thread basis what had been replied to, rather than viewing over all of the different sections. The right nav menu isn't as useful right now because nearly every single new topic is an anon.

Any way to implement such a thing?

ALL quoted text (unless otherwise stated) comes from the Big Book of Alcoholics Anonymous (with wording sometimes changed only to make it more relevant for gaming addiction). I will include page numbers.

Hoping & praying for a measure of recovery for all of us today.

I may be able to add a

I may be able to add a column to the Recent posts page showing what Forum each particular post was posted to. Would that accomplish what you're looking for?

Er thought a half second

Er thought a half second longer about this--there is a yes and a no to this. It does show me all the recent posts, but if there have been 5 posts from newly arrived addicts, and then after that 5 posts from newly arrived anons--what will show are the 5 posts from the newly arrived anons. It's not that I don't care--but it's more appropriate that I'm responding to the 5 newly arrived addicts, whose posts I won't be able to see because the 5 newly arrived anons have bumped theirs.

I don't actually want to see the replies to anon posts--and I'm bummed when I miss the posts from addicts because of newer posts by anons.

Hi just wanted to follow up

Hi just wanted to follow up on this--I'm still seeing that with the increase in posts anon side that addict posts disappear pretty quickly from the "new posts" so I'm having to search a wide array of forums for "most recently" replied to threads, but if it shows someone I know is an anon I have some doubts about the thread.

How is the research on preferences going? Could we consider separating the forums?
