NEW 12-STEP/12-TRADITION MEETING FOR FRIENDS AND FAMILIES OF CYBER ADDICTS
Do you know someone who:
Is preoccupied with the Internet?
Feels restless, moody, depressed, or irritable when attempting to cut down or stop Internet use?
Has jeopardized or risked the loss of a significant relationship, job, educational, or career opportunity because of his or her Internet use?
Uses the Internet as a way of escaping from problems or of relieving a distressed mood?
If you can answer YES to any of these questions, you may know someone who is suffering from cyber addiction. If this person's behavior and attitudes are adversely affecting your life, then you also may be suffering from the effects of cyber addiction. We invite all those who may be interested to attend a new 12-Step/12-Tradition support group modeled after Al-Anon called CARE-Anon (for "Cyber Addicts in REcovery"). Our first meeting will be held at:
400 Lashley Street, Bldg D1
Longmont CO
19 February 2006 6PM
