Loner in Germany

Hi,

My name is Martin and i am addicted to video-games (and movies...)! I come from Germany, Rheinland-Pfalz,
I write this, because i immediately need others to work with. I go to another 12 step group for 2 years now. There is another videogamer. He mostly played ot game-consoles.
I read very much literature from Alcoholics Anonymus and my 12step group, and all over there is told to work with others! But I dont know where I find those perople in Germany? I ve emailed with a man tha has contacted me over the site "onlinesucht.de" but he didnt answer my emails for 3 weeks now...
At last, id like to ask you any questions
Do you know, how to meet others, wich want to recover from video-gaming for face to face meetings or at least for phonecontact?
Does anyone here thought abaut a general sobriety-definition?

With best regards and good 24h
Martin, aus Germany

For me, its like mental death, when i consume games or virtual worlds, and will follow physical death, because i dont want to life a life sitting in front of a pixlescreen and ruin my real life...

You are not alone. Welcome

You are not alone. Welcome to On-Line Gamers Anonymous, where you can find others who know all too much the place that you are living at right now in this moment. Others have come before you, not knowing that recovery could be found for this new addiction. Over the course of the next ten years, the addiction to video games whether on-line or on console will come to live through the lives of many good young men and women throughout the entire world. OLGAnon has a mission to reach to these fine men and women and to offer a safe place for recovery and referral. My hope is that you will find strength here to continue to search for others in Germany, who are seeking answers for the addiction to excessive gaming.

Martin, I meet them here and

Martin, I meet them here and some through e mail contact. It is difficult indeed to find people to meet face to face. So far the connection and support I have found here is enough for me so sadly I can't advice you on how to achieve other contacts.
