AA Thought for the Day

Steps
If you have decided you want what we have and are willing to go to any length to get it -- then you are ready to take certain steps. At some of these we balked. We thought we could find an easier, softer way. But we could not. With all the earnestness at our command, we beg of you to be fearless and thorough from the very start.

LOL Pat u just gave me a huge flashback. When i started with the steps i read the BB and this part hit on my brain when i read it. I remember i wanted drugs for sleep and let time pass and forget all about my game, but when i read this i said "ok this is gonna be hard, but that's the only way".
Thank you, you have no idea how bad i needed to remember this today :).
Pretty clear here. No easier, softer way. Abstaining is the easy way. The steps are the easy way (and free, too, though not without cost).
