My son is addicted to his tablet's game

How can I solve my son's addiction to his tablet's game? He is 11 years old. He cant keep himself from playing his game, minecraft to be exact. He also used passwords on his tablet so no one can open it except him.

Welcome to Olganon.

Welcome to Olganon.

You are the parent and you can set limits on your son's game playing. Take the tablet away until he gives you the pass word. then put parental controls on the tablet.

If he acts up after you intereference and will not do other acitivities, because he is addicted, then you need to think about a plan on how you are going to tackle this.

An 11-year-old does not need

An 11-year-old does not need his own tablet.  Unless you think he would becoome suicidal or homicidal if you took it away, you need to be the parent and take the tablet away.  Read the post that Polga linked above.  You are the parent.  He is the child.  Remember that.
