Therapeutic boarding school?

My 14 year old son has been in a wilderness program since April 23. His therapist is now recommending that the next step should be a therapeutic boarding school.

Does anyone have any positive experience and can offer some advice to me to help me select the right program? There are so many, I don't know where to begin.

You can read my blog if you would like to know my story. It is too long to write again here.

I don't have any experience

I don't have any experience but you may be able to cut down the list by asking which schools ban personal computers/smart phones etc and which allow their pupils to keep those items, even if restricted. You may want a school where those items are not allowed for any of the kids that go there to keep temptation out the way

I wish I had some experience

I wish I had some experience with therapeutic boarding schools to make a recommendation to you but unfortunately I don't :-( Some parents sent their children to boarding schools as far as I know. Hope they will see your post and reply. If not perhaps you can join in Thursday evening's chat meeting this week. You may be able to discuss it with the moms who had some experience. Good luck!
