UK-based television production company Maverick Television are making a new documentary series for ITV on the subject of mental health and behavioural issues in children and young people. The programme is being made in conjunction with the world-renowned centre for the study and treatment of psychological conditions in children, the Anna Freud Centre. The programme will cover a broad range of mental health and behavioural issues which are affecting young people in the UK today. One of the issues we are keen to feature is the increasing phenomenon of internet and gaming addiction. We are looking for families who fear their child may be suffering from this problem who might be interested in participating in the programme. All of the families who take part will have the opportunity for their child to be assessed and treated by expert clinicians. Should you be interested in finding out more about the programme please contact Claire Allitt at Maverick Television on 0207 874 6694 or e-mail c.allitt@mavericktv.co.uk. All enquiries will be treated in the strictest of confidence and will give you no obligation to appear in the programme.
