Hi all,
I'm Enjoli, a Journalism student studying at Goldsmiths College in the UK.
I'm conducting research for a college article about the physical effects of computer game addiction. There have been a number of studies published recently which highlight the physical problems people can suffer as a direct result of excessive and prolonged gaming (such as obesity, tendonitis, irregular heart rate, fits, and carpal tunnel syndrome) and I would like to make people more aware of these effects.
I feel a lot of research is being done into to social and psychological impact of game addiction, which of course is extremely important. But for those who suffer physical problems as a result of gaming - there is little media coverage.
As part of this article, I would really like to speak to anyone who has suffered from physical problems as a result of excessive gaming. I am keen to preserve the privacy of anyone who contacts me, all correspondence will be conducted via email and you will not be pressured into answering anything you don't want to.
Thanks for reading,
Enjoli

Since I was addicted for only a year and was forced to move around a little because of school, I didn't get as much of the physical effects of the addiction as many do. I would be happy to answer questions or give an interview, but you would probably be more interested in others.
