Hey all! Just wanted to check in and say it has been a month now without playing any of them addictive games i was stuck on. When not working i have been spending a lot of time reading, going to the park/taking walks with my Fiance (Oh yeah i purposed to my GF a few weeks ago and she said yes =] ) Been training at my martial arts class a few times a week. I Still feel a want to play but so far i have been able to tell my self its not worth going back to how things were and have resisted the urge to play (also not wanting the hassle to redownload, install, and update helps lol) I have played a few video games, Marioparty over my friends once and a few small puzzle games on the internet, but i dont feel those are at all a problem and since i only do it to kill 5min~ here and there and doubt its even added to an hour total in a week. Anyway, i dont get on the site a lot but i did wanna say thanks again, this site helped me get the ball rolling and now that it has im keeping it going.
Hi Haivox,
Congratulations on 30 days!
P.S. I had to end up giving up all the other games, I played FreeCell after giving up WoW and ended up playing it addictively. The only good thing about that was that I realize I am a real gaming addict. If I can get addicted to FreeCell then I really belong here.
Game free since 11/24/2011 (Thanksgiving Day). One Day at a Time.
Available by phone (904)437-0761.
Congratulations on 30 days, and thanks for updating us!

Haivox, I congratulate you! But I have a warning just in case. To be safest, stay from games entirely. As harmless as board games may seem, they are highly addictive as well. Thank you for updating us. :)

Yeah I also get that board games are highly addictive, but one of the big points for me, is that you NEED other people to do it with you, so by design, you are being social, a big thing that gaming kept me from doing.
I count him braver who conquers his desires
than him who conquers his enemies;
for the hardest victory is the victory over self.
Everything can be addicting.. But I never stayed up till 3am playing Monopoly...
