Hi all,
Just wanted to let you know that you can definately get past your game playing addiction. I've been sinle player and MMO PC gaming free for just over a year. I enjoyed and learned from alot of people's posts on here especially Dignified Dude's. What helped me the most was taking the energy and desire I had for games and turned it towards real life and improving my situations in life that caused me to run to games. Like taking alot of unneeded abuse from work and family members. Sometimes that meant telling certain people to take a hike so to say but it's what I had to do for me and my Wife and Kids. I'd love to say that I haven't had the urge to play again, or spent time here and there thinking of the fond memories I had of playing games like guild wars and Star Wars Battlefront. But I knew that Everyday I took a step away It was for the best. So keep up the good work and moving towards a game free life, but you have to do it for you.
Thanks,
OGCJoe
