It was reccomended to me by my "new" sponsor, that I try new tools for my recovery. He's only been my sponsor for six months now. One of the tools we use in Narcotics Anonyous is attending 90 meetings in 90 days. A person can make more than one meeting a day, but to succeed one has to make at least one meeting a day for 90 days straight.
I'm 1/6 of the way there with 15 days. With numerous meetings each day. My sponsor asked me the other day where I was going that evening. I replied that I was attending an online meeting. He was surprised, but when I told him that I believed that online chat & voice meetings were just as valid as face to face meetings, he kind of smiled and said "Rock on."
There will come a time soon when I will make just one meeting a day, and I may make just one frequently. I'm starting a new job so my availability is changing. But come hell or high water I'm going to complete my personal challenge. Recently I had the opportunity present itself for me to chair a meeting I was not expecting to chair that evening. HP is being kind to me, giving me just what I can handle.

I think that's awesome, John. Your challenge to yourself is inspiring, and I hope I have the opportunity to hear more about your successes and experiences in some meetings! Wish I could get to more of them, and hopefully I will be able to soon.
Keep it up man!
I dedicated myself to doing 30 in 30 the other day. I hope you share your successes!
Going to meetings daily will help a lot. That's what I am going to do... Keep going!
Once you are away from games, you start to gain will power, confidence, and a lot more in a slight edge manner, making a huge difference in your world.
I made it to 72 days, and then missed a day.
Soon afterr that I relapsed.
Sorry to have messed up.
Will keep you updated.
