Brag about the length of time you've distanced yourself from on-line games. I know I gave up playing these games about 7 months ago. How long have you been sober?
Hello! Well, I figured I'd be the second to brag. I've been away from the board for a while, busy with school and life. and lots of dancing, actually. It seems like a lot has been happening, lots of new attention here, both good and obnoxious. Some new folks stepping up to help out, it;s great to see. I wasn't sure what I;d find. I haven't browsed the board in months. Sometimes i forget that I even am an addict (not a bad sort of forgetting ;-) Today is my official one year clean day. Technically, it was probably sometime in late May or early June, but I was so busy at the time (and only just stopping using) that i didn't mark the day I actually quit. But I know I was done and posting regularly here by July 1, so here we go. I can't remember exactly when the cravings stopped, sometime in the winter maybe. It wasn't until the spring that I even noticed I wasn't having them any more. It was nice to be rid of them. This is a relatively ancient post. Don't know if anyone is going to catch my reply to it. But I wanted to acknowledge the day. I hope you all are well, and I'm glad you're holding down the fort for those of us who just peek in every so often. Thanks, chris
