Why are *some* kids messed up? It's because some parents do not take control over their little brats, allowing them to run the household. They try to give their little child space to develop and mature naturally without direction and discipline because those things might hinder his creativity.
Bullshyte- This kid *AND* his mom both need to have their ass beaten, in my opinion. This is only a little over 3 minutes, but you need to hear at least half to see what a 'gem' this boy is.

That is unbelieveable!
Although, when it started, it did sound like my kid - arguing to get his way, trying to wear her down, to do what he wanted.
But than that mouth! My kid would have a mouth full of soap to clean it!
Parents - you are in control, not the kiddie! You need to set guidelines for your kids, and make sure they follow them. They need that protection from you. If you don't, this is what you will end up with, and the kid is only 9! Wait until he is a teen.
Give them an inch and they will take a mile. The more you let them get away with, the more they will demand. The more you give them, the more they want.

And this, my friends, is why I never want to have kids.
I'd also like to add that it's sick, the mouth these kids have these days. If I backtalked my dad like that... heck, even I said something such as "darnit" or "crud" (his logic is that replacements for cusswords are just as bad as the cusswords themselves)... when I was little, my dad woulda grounded me and/or given me a belt across the butt. I didn't appreciate the discipline back then, but these days, I'm rather thankful for it, seeing the way kids these days disrespect their elders.

Hitting a kid with a belt is not okay. If people tried to protect kids from violence more than sex the world would be a better place. The sight of a 175 lbs. man chasing down and restraining a 40 lbs. child and beating him is sickening. It's about the same as sexual assault.
My father never hit me. He didn't have to. The whole idea of respect was a given growing up. When I did something wrong, I feared when my father came home. Not because I was afraid of being hit...but because I was afraid of how my behavior would have disappointed him.
That was enough back then.

Sticky sounds like Cartman in this reply, lol.
"I just tell her to get in the kitchen and make me some pie."
"I just tell her, 'Hey! Stop making me dance in a postman costume, while you have sex with an anonymous stranger in my dad's bed!'"
Lol.
Anyhoo.
The kid in this video needs an ass whoopin. Thats all there is to it. The problem today is parents don't want to take the time and effort it takes to responsibly raise a child. It is a 24/7 job that requires perseverance and rethinking strategies. Eventually kids start to get testy no matter what you do, and you have to let them know who is actually in charge. That kid, for one, would lose his computer for at least a week, would be punished that entire day for talking so rudely to my wife. And he would have to apologize to both me and my wife. If he did not, he deserves an ass whoopin. My dad spanked me once, and I never doubted his authority after that.
Thats just ridiculous.
Cheers.

I agree, violence is never a good answer, and 'spanking' is violence. Certainly that child is out of control but what rational parent lets her young child play such a violent game in the first place, and online with strangers as well!?! This child is a victim of extremely poor parental judgement.
There's a humongous difference between spanking a child on the behind with your hand, and "chasing them down and beating them silly." I asked a child psychologist about spankings, and he said that its believed, amoung the general psychology community that spanking is not a harmfull act. In fact he said it was benefitial to do so every 3 to 6 months because children tend to get more and more unruly over time without being spanked. He said its just a way of establishing authority, and there's nothing wrong with it.
This is quite different from regularly beating your child when they don't listen. This would be classified as abuse.
And when children aren't technically abused, and instead are spanked regularly, especially daily, they tend to no longer respond to it. But this is in extreme cases where it happens just about every day, and the parents don't give the child clear direction as to what is expected of them.
Just my two cents.

Also termed 'negative reinforcement' I think spanking or corporal punishment or whatever you want to call it serves to instill the importance of cause and effect. It's amazing how many adults have no clue about cause and effect. It seems like such a basic principle of life.
Some professionals say that we are motivated more by pain than by pleasure. I can relate to numerous instances in my own life where that holds true.
As for spanking, I was never spanked by my parents, but they asserted their authority psychologically. Not abusive, but effective.
