im 16 im a junior im taking reg classes. I am kind of lazy and addicted to everquest. somthing about it draws me to it.. as of the everyquest player who killed hismelf my deep appologies to his mom/family as she is the board operator. but back to my story.
a few of my grades suck, im depressed and im a chronic worrier.. I cant do anything without knowing it will all be ok, I havnt seen tog et medical help or pills to fix this. but i am at a point where I come home crying everyday due to chronicly thinking what will my life be like?
and other questions like, for example. will it all be ok or will I end up killing myself beacuse I cant do anything on my own and I have such a altered reception of reality from playing that **** everquest game.
it basicly made me feel like EQ is my life and thats how i will be, Im one of the richest guys on the server yet I feel like @#%$. I cant handle anything coming my way. I worry if I will ever be able to manage on my own. Im sorry this is so distorted but im so emotional atm I cant express antyhing but thoughts running through my head.
please tell me what to do i need guidance. thanks in advance, and if anybody post here to make fun of me? think of yourself your just a cold heartless faggot who wants to make fun of a man when he is down in his time of need. go get a life people who come here and make fun of people some of us need help through addiction.. we dont want to be the 500lb guy who's best thing in life is playing computer games all day ags 15-60

When do you play? Afternoons....evenings....late into the night?
Do your parents / guardians know how much you play? What do they say or do about it?
When did you start playing Everquest? What interests did you have before Everquest? If you had the time, what interests could you see yourself pursuing in addition to building Everquest characters?
Answer a few questions for me, and some people will surely post a few helpful suggestions!
Dear Sir,
Thank you for coming here, and sharing.
And, thank you for your sympathy.
It is very difficult for me to respond, because I am so saddened after reading your story.
I need to know what state you are from. We have several professionals we can point you to, who take the gaming as a serious issue. Here is a link to our "professional references" section: pub136.ezboard.com/folgafrm23
You definitely need professional help. It really looks live you also are having a compulsive/obsessive issue.
I know people who have had that, and they were able to be cured. They had to be on medication for a while, but it did eventually go away.
Please have your parents come to our board, and read what is happening here, so they understand that they need to get help for you.
Please read this paper on the addictive nature of everquest. Here is the link: pub136.ezboard.com/folgafrm30.showMessage?topicID=27.topic It is important that you understand what you are dealing with here.
Also, I posted a new subject in the related links section, which may help you. pub136.ezboard.com/folgafrm30.showMessage?topicID=28.topic
You have to do this one step at a time, and only one day at a time. Don't look at the rest of your life. Only look at today, because that is all you have.
Look at our 12 steps.

you left out the part you posted on other forums that you had aids and were dying and wanted sympathy for that too. however, your story makes 0 sense, and this post further clarifies your need for emotional attention. your problem isnt an addiction rather you have some sort of hunger for seeing other people feel sympathetic for you.
Meeeooowww!
I would too if I was in his situation.
if its true that is.

one thing i really wanna know is, do you really have HIV ryushan? because its not something to joke about....and your brotherhood friends from everquest DID feel have sympathy for you.......and it would really be a horrible thing of you, if you lied that you had HIV for people in the game to feel sorry for you.
if you do have HIV, im sorry... but if you do, why didnt you add that to your post on these boards...obviously you are looking for attention, thats a fine way to get some...
i agree with peersu...
anyway, good luck with your addiction....i was addicted to the game too....cept eq was my form of coping with my real life issues...not a way to get the world to feel sorry for my life...
