FYI
As some of you know, and others don't, on May 30, 2005, Ezboard, which powers this message board and thousands of others, was attacked by a hacker.
We have lost 1 1/2 years of posts, stories, references, information, links, etc.
I know ezboard is still working on getting this resolved.
In the mean time, I am so upset about this I cannot function. I want to puke.
I hope people will keep reaching out here, for help.
That is all I can say about this, for now.

Hang in there, Liz.
Those posts were written by those who needed to write them and were read by those who needed to read them. They may be lost, but certainly not forgotten.
Many of those posts contained opinions and information which is now outdated. I personally have changed a number of positions as I learned more about myself and the issues...as I have matured, my ideals and opinions have matured.
It's important to remember the past, but not dwell on it. Focus on those things ahead of us and the people who are here now and who are coming, not those issues of years past and postings of those who will never be back.
Healing is as much about letting go...so let's move forward.
To dwell on and get sick over lost posts is the *same* feeling that gamers have about losing in-game property. There really is no difference. It's true.

Good analogy, Ron-- it does feel a bit like giving up the virtual property.
However, I think you're right. The past is important, but there is a wide open future to all of us that we can fill up!
I am stillllll wating........................................................................for our messages to come back.......................................................................

We are still in the process of getting posts restored to our board. Right now, the posts are out of date order.
This will be fixed later.
At least I am seeing some posts coming back.
Ezboard is saying they may not finish until next Wednesday, now.

Its kind of sad, I look for my old posts or anything I spoke about and its as if I was never here... Either way the posts I made and the people that helped me will always have a special place in my heart.

Matt,
I did find a few of your posts!
You are still here, in our history.
