ROFL - HAVNEQ! One of the thing I missed the most about Everquest were the GM events of Halloween and some of the other holidays. Not sure how long you've been around Norrath and if you remember these Halloween events:
- Evil assult on Freeport - Undead invasion of Qeynos Hills - The Days the skies turned red in many of the lands (and stayed that way because the programmers apparently could not figure out how to fix them back for a week or so.) - The Blood Drake in Rathe Mountains and the Fear mobs there - The undead invasion of Everfrost
The beginning days of Everquest were the best back when all things were still new and people worked collectively to solve the quests and roleplay. Anymore as soon as something happens, it's "let's see who can get their guild and get the phat lewt before anyone else does." followed by complaints that the phat lewt they got from the event was crap.
Times had changed and that's one reason why I only make an occasional appearance around Norrath anymore.
this was actually the 1st year I have missed the halloween events on EQ - but due to the fires in San Diego I am not even sure they had any this year as they cleared out the GM staff (at least according to the website)
but I was working this year as well as taking out the 4 year old - which was fun...she would knock on a door and say trick or treat before it was even opened... heh
don't have as much fun as this poor pumpkin did all !
What an imagination you have!
That is so gruesome!
How is he/she feeling today?
