Be VERY wary of this. If you

Be VERY wary of this. If you trace back past the youtube to the BBC or other links, you'll wind up at an EDITORIAL (i.e., not peer-reviewed research article) published in a journal that charges $50 per day just to take a peek at the editorial. They SAY lots of things in the youtube, but the raw data is not available for those of limited means, and if their data were good enough, they wouldn't have stopped at an editorial. It is quite likely that their sample size is small, biased or otherwise good for pilot studies for grants but NOT sufficient to provide causation for gaming companies being responsible for anything. I'm not saying this just to be a naysayer, with the inclusion of internet addiction disorder in the ready-to-research category of the DSM-V, the real researchers will probably start gearing up their grant applications for true research any time now, and I suspect that's what this pilot data is really for. Since DSM-VI is probably fifteen years away, we and they have time to get the real story through peer-reviewed journals long before gaming addiction is even medically established, let alone before attorneys start fighting out who pays for recovery then. Be wary.

It's real research. The YouTube video is ME discussing it!

Most peer-reviewed research journals charge for access. ;)
