Thanks for the links...The articles in the Orlando and Houston papers, while very interesting, seem to focus upon the problem as it is found among teens exclusively, however...I would really like to see the media give more attention to the spouses and children of gamers who suffer. I feel that we are being forgotten - maybe reporters just don't know how to handle/classify 40-something-and-beyond men and women who behave like teenagers in their efforts to use games to escape from real-life responsibilities. If there are any reporters reading these posts - PLEASE expand your coverage!!! (But thank you for making a great first step.)
A knock down drag out fight in a national meeting of the AMA will be on CBS and CNN, probably the BBC as well. Don't think this is stopping at the AP, we're in for the biggest wave in the five year history of this organization. Note to media: our 5th anniversary happens to be next week, go figure.
