Sure, they're learning more than how to smash dinosaurs. They're learning what it feels like to have carpal tunnel syndrome at age 11.

EDUCATIONAL gaming yes, but what can something like rockband teach you cmon 97% kids game *** yes educational taught me math and some French and how to type and should replace teachers soon but seriously 97% I think you're trying to be the flagbearer before the school bus arrives with its daily wounded on the battle field of our homes!
well it was said about cigarettes a long time ago that they were actually good for you

it's incredibly easy to make a study which gives results that have nothing to do with reality on a larger scale, they said the study had 1102 participants, how many children age 7 live in the US?
it's just corporate america trying to get your children hooked on something, don't be fooled
EDIT: a lot of that video basically says "97% of kids play video games, so it's ok", the equivalent of "well millions of people smoke, so it's ok" plus "and look smokers don't usually smoke when alone in a dark basement, they smoke with other people"
I also like how they take only what makes games look like fun from what the girls said, I wish they'd show the uncut version
when the girl says "well there are many definitions of cool" she was actually saying that games are fine but they're not amazing or anything
people are being manipulated in so many ways, especially in america

If you play video games, turn them off once in a while and rejoin life. Some of us here like you, don't ask me why.
I watched the film clip. I am sure a gamer probably put that together....
After being here since 2002, I disagree with that message. We are humans, not computers and when teaching, human interaction is always the best way to go. Computers are for lazy teachers.... Games used for purely the sake of entertainment are what they are. For my job, when I am told to take a course on the internet, I refuse. I do not learn that way. I learn from being in a classroom and listening and interacting with the instructor and other students. I learn from demonstrations from a real human. For me, trying to learn from a course on the computer is god-awful boring. What I saw stays with me for about 5 minutes, after I complete the course. I prefer to be valued enough as a human being to be treated as human being, not some robot to be sat in front of a computer.
The question is....will you be able/courageous/adult enough to sacrifice that which merely pleases you...for that which will truly fulfill you? That is the question of personal growth.
