Quote:A 19-year-old Deltona man is arrested for assaulting his own mother, with a taco. Dena Moir tells Fox 35 News her son, Zachary Moir, got out of control Wednesday night when she was calling him down for dinner. When he refused to stop playing his X-box and come down for dinner, Dena Moir says she went upstairs and unplugged the game, that's when she says Zachary pushed her and called her a bad name. "I've been having trouble with him for awhile won't work, wont' go to school. He's being rude and disrespectful. Pushing things to the limit as far as the violence.aEU
A few minutes later Dena says she was in the kitchen cleaning and cooking tacos for dinner when Zachary showed up. That's when she says he slapped her arm and threw a taco in her face. aEUoeHe went ahead and hit me with the taco and I got taco all over my shirt and kitchen. IaEU(tm)ve threatened to call police before. But anyway this time, I thought he went too far so I called police and he's in jail now.aEU
I don't know if Zachary is addicted to video games, but it seems that he certainly is at least playing them excessively and taking them too seriously, with it resulting with him now being in jail for assault. Unfortunately, I believe that many of you OLG-Anon parents can relate to this type of situation all too well.

Maybe the Daniel Petric case in Ohio would have had this kind of outcome if there hadn't been a gun in the house?
The happiness of a man in this life does not consist in the absence but in the mastery of his passions.

I've been following the Petric case. I think there shouldn't have been guns in the house, also. Ever saw the movie Bowling for Columbine? "A few minutes later Dena says she was in the kitchen cleaning and cooking tacos for dinner when Zachary showed up. That's when she says he slapped her arm and threw a taco in her face." That's pretty crazy, I have to admit.
The long-term outcome exceeds the short-term outcome.
Thank God a food fight and a smack was the worst he could do.
The happiness of a man in this life does not consist in the absence but in the mastery of his passions.

Even still, I'm sure the taco was, err, "loaded"! :O

haha!! But seriously, good point: Thank goodness all he could get his hands on in his fit of rage was a TACO!
Until we are tested, how do we know if we will pass?
