I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist Supervisor and a Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor in the state of Texas, with over 10 years of clinical experience in a variety of settings. I received my Master of Marriage and Family Therapy degree from Abilene Christian University in 2004 and my PhD in Marriage and Family Therapy (MFT) from Texas Tech University in 2008. Since 2013 I have been teaching full-time in the St. Mary’s University MFT program in San Antonio, training Masters and Doctoral students in MFT.
I am a Clinical Member of the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy (www.aamft.org) and also an AAMFT Approved Supervisor. I specialize in seeing couples, but I also see families, individual adults, and older children for many problems, including relationship issues, depression, anxiety, parenting issues, and behavioral problems.
I have been married to Kirsten since 2004 and we have two incredible kids. When I am not spending time with them, I enjoy trying to stay fit, reading, watching good movies, playing off-beat board games, going out with friends, and traveling.
I have experience researching people with online gaming addiction and other types of internet-related disorders. I would love the chance to work with you if you are experiencing any type of technology-related addiction.
