Plugged In: A Clinicians' and Families' Guide to Online video Game Addiction, by Terry Waite. A therapist who is also a gamer, but recognizes and acknowledges that this can be an addiction for the 10% of players who are susceptible. The only thing I object to about Plugged In is that the author devotes one chapter to re-introducing a kid to "responsible" gaming after therapy for the addiction. If you skip that chapter, It's a good book.
