Ive been playing WoW for a little over a year now (not game time), and I love being on the game mostly for the people. I log in to WoW, AIM, and Xfire, and talk to people, maybe going to farm or do an instance late at night friday and saturday nights.
My grades in school have not dropped, i dont neglect things that need done because of the game (just my horrible memory). I dont think I'm addicted, I go take breaks every hour or so, but mostly i just like the people.
Any suggestions etc to help me find out? I dont want to quit the game, just because I have friends on here. I can do without instances and farming, I just hang out in a city and talk quite often.

Honestly, start checking off what applies to you, than take a look at it.
Are you neglecting your real life? What do other family members think of your gaming?
Are you doing this in moderation, with other things in your life, so you don't get unbalanced?
There are more things to look at, than if your grades don't drop. Most gamers are brilliant.

Thats the thing, i didnt have much of a life to begin with when I started playing, so Im not sure. And ill do the assessment asap
