addictions
Hello to you,

i am a graphic design student from glasgow, scotland.
in my final year i am designing double page spreads on the subject of my choosing, video game addictions. i have experienced first hand, mild forms of addiction, such as playing splinter cell to the point where i want to take out every lightbulb i see...

i would really appreciate it if you could come up with some hard hitting words to raise awareness of the seriousness of this issue and that IT IS NOT a pathetic excuse for wasted time!!

thanks for your site, its been very useful

Re: addictions

How about SUICIDE? Physically and or mentally and emotionally.

People who become addicted to these games leave their real lives and the relationships in them. Pretty sad, when you think about it.

And there are all these rationalizations why it is great to live in the virtual world, rather than in the real world - in the short-term, it is easier. Will they ever have time for a family, or to get a house? They won't know how. Doing something in real life, is NOT the same as doing it in a GAME.

So LIFE and DEATH are more words you can use, munted.

(Is this what you are looking for?)
